Windmill Winery Wedding // Sarah + James // KolorPHX Photographic CO.
I am so in love with Sarah + James, Windmill Winery Wedding on the blog today! I love being a small part of such a beautiful celebration and having the opportunity to capture such priceless, special moments! Sarah + James are so in love and I can’t say that I didn’t cry a few tears while finalizing their Windmill Winery Wedding collection! I met Sarah + James a little less that two years ago and I knew that we connected immediately and hearing Sarah say while she was walking away…”Thats our photographer!” I knew that we were a perfect fit! So after shooting their engagement shortly after, we started planning the perfect Windmill Winery Wedding! Here is how Sarah + James met in James words…
“Sarah was a freshman at the University of Arizona and desperately needed a job. James was a junior at the University of Arizona and was working at Coldstone Creamery. She decided that Coldstone Creamery would be as good a place as any and put in an application. A few days after she applied, she went in to inquire about her application and James happened to be working that day, although he still doesn’t remember meeting her that day. Little did they know that they were looking at the person they would eventually marry.
Sarah got the job at Coldstone in April 2014 and James took part in training her for her first job. Over time a friendship grew between them and they both looked forward to working together. They often joked that they would marry each other one day, though they still argue about who jokingly proposed first. Soon James and Sarah realized that they had begun to develop feelings for each other, but both were unsure of how a relationship would impact their friendship.
Sarah eventually grew frustrated with waiting and in February 2015, she asked him out to lunch. He said yes and they had their first date on February 13, 2015. Their relationship went long distance when James graduated in May 2015 and they spent the next 9 months driving back and forth from Phoenix and Tucson to see each other. In February 2016, Sarah and James decided to move in together.  On February 24, 2016 James could not wait any longer to propose. He dropped down on one knee and asked Sarah to marry him on one of his lunch breaks. Of course, she said yes.”
